Enjoy The Race #RaceDayRelief

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #RaceDayRelief #CollectiveBias My family enjoys watching races together on television. In the beginning I wasn't a huge fan, however with 5 boys and a husband that really enjoy race day, I'm starting to cave. I love the time together and am really getting into the race. Growing up, the race was always on at our house, I was just too busy with other things. I'm glad I've taken the time to sit down and enjoy race day with my boys. We flip houses as a family. This is a lot of hard work and due to the strenuous work we are often left with achy joints and sore bodies. It's never easy to sit down and relax, even on race day, when you are hurting. That's why we head to Wal-Mart and pick up Advil Film-Coated so that we can get rid of our aches and pains in time for the race! Advil Film-Coated is fast acting and has a rapid release formula, which means that it goes to work within … [Read more...]

Bye Bye Stink w/ Downy Fabric Conditioner #ProtectClothesYouLove

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G. All opinions expressed are our own. Okay, I'm going to come clean and let you all in on a little secret. Are you ready? Boys sometimes stink. Yes, there you have it. I know, I know, girls sometimes stink too, but since I'm raising my own little tribe of boys I can only speak for boys, and when they get to be teenagers---watch out Moms! So, what do I do to keep the stink at bay? I use things that smell good---like fabric softener. I've tried several fabric softeners over the years and Downy has always been my favorite. There's just something about clean sheets fresh out of the laundry with that nice clean smell that can really give you a good night sleep. I think my boys agree! You can purchase Downy Fabric Conditioner at Walmart. I feel like it's important that we protect the clothes we love. As a matter of fact, since I have all boys I'm hoping to hand down as much of the clothing as I can. Given all I'm doing to protect my … [Read more...]

We Are Having Fun Outdoors This Summer

We received free product to facilitate this review. All opinions express are our own. This summer I was really hoping to find some fun outdoor play items for my boys. They love to play in the water, but a simple sprinkler can get bored over time. We were quite thrilled when we received the H2OGO! backyard water toys! Since we didn't want our children sitting indoors in the air conditioning all summer long playing electronics and so forth, we decided to set up a fun outdoor water play area, and it's been great so far! (Even then neighbor kids have joined in on the fun!) What are H2OGO! water toys? H2OGO! products are a brand of Bestway, Inc. The full line includes H2OGO! Tether Ball Splash, Doodle Glow Pool and Color Wave Pool as well as the original H2OGO! inflatable water slide with a built in ramp!  More about the H2OGO! water toys we received... H2OGO! Tether Ball Splash The classic fun of tether ball infused with a new level of wet and wild excitement.   H2OGO! … [Read more...]

Carry Baby Close W/ Wrapy Baby Sling

We received the Wrapy Baby Sling product to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are our own. Well, most of you know that my baby days are long past, however some of my siblings are just getting started, and that's pretty exciting to me! We were sent a Wrapy baby carrier to test out, and I couldn't wait to gift it to my little sister and her new baby boy! What is Wrapy Baby Sling? Wrapy is a baby sling that was created by a family company. The owners of the company have children of their own and they know what it is like to want to keep your children safe and secure at all times, especially in the early months right after baby is born. They searched different baby products on the market, sorted what they liked and disliked and came up with their new product, Wrapy. Wrapy is 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex, so it's super comfortable and easy to wear. It is a one size fits all, so no need to guess on sizing and hope it works. It is machine washable and you can even throw it … [Read more...]

Don’t Forget to Take Your Vitamins!

We received free product to review. All opinions expressed are our own. I try my hardest to take in all of the right vitamins and the right foods needed to stay healthy (and keep my energy up), but it's not always easy, especially once you become a parent. Often times I'm so busy making sure everyone else is taken care of that I forget to take care of myself. I'm sure I'm not alone. That's why I love Nature's Garden Daily Multivitamin from RMB Naturals. It's a proprietary blend of over 40 premium whole fruits and greens, plus minerals to provide complete whole food nutrition for men and women. The recommended dosage is 3 tablets a day. The green tea extract that is included gives you a bit of an energy boost (I totally needed that!) without making you feel jittery or anything. I feel so much better when I'm taking my multivitamin. I feel like I don't get sick near as much, and when I do happen to get sick it seems to be gone much sooner than others. I also feel like I have so … [Read more...]

Disclosure: I receive free product in order to evaluate and comment on my experiences using Medifast products. Medifast products and the Medifast program are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or illness. Oh my word...I really should have updated you all sooner! So, my second week has come and gone (I'll post my 3rd week update soon). I'm still on track and doing great, and I'm still loving everything! I continue to enjoy the foods. There are a couple of foods that I like more than others, however there's nothing that I really dislike and won't eat. I find that the nacho cheese puffs are a little much when eating them by themselves, however they taste delicious in my salads! (And now my mouth is watering!) I feel like I'm totally learning how to eat smaller portions, eat better and I'm feeling so much better! You should see all of the energy I have now! I will post updated pictures soon, so stay tuned! Check back next week for my update. If you’d like … [Read more...]

Peter and the Wolf In Hollywood App Review

This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Giants Are Small and MomSelect. We received the Peter and the Wolf In Hollywood app free to try.  All thoughts and opinions are my own. So, I decided to do this review a little differently. Normally I would tell my kiddos that I wanted them to review an app, we would download said app and then they would give me their thoughts. This time, I thought I would just surprise them with the app. I downloaded the app onto their iPads while they were sleeping. The next morning they noticed the Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood app on their iPads and started playing. I watched them play this app for the longest time without even questioning where it came from. It wasn't until I poked my head into the room and asked what they were up to that someone said, "We have this fun new app on our iPads and it's really fun!" (Yes, they really said fun several times!) With that being said, I'm sure you can see where this is going...they loved the app! I … [Read more...]

This Weight Loss Thing Just Got Real!

Disclosure: I receive free product in order to evaluate and comment on my experiences using Medifast products. Medifast products and the Medifast program are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or illness. Growing up I never really had to worry about my weight. I was always pretty thin (although I didn't always see myself that way) and I could eat whatever I wanted. It wasn't until I started to have children that I started to struggle with weight issues. You could say that I've fluctuated a ton over the years. One minute I feel really good in my skin and am saying that I'll NEVER let myself get to the point of being overweight again and then the next thing I know I'm crying over a pint of ice cream wondering how I let myself get to this point again. I've figured out my problem. What is it, you ask? My problem is that I use food (and drinks) to comfort me, and I LOVE sweets. I have a real addiction going on here and I didn't see it until just recently. My … [Read more...]
